Updatez

Hi peeps...

How are all of you? Happy? Sad? Depressed? Excited? Hyper?
Well, I'm fine... lol... The normal me... ^^

Let's see... past few days have been cool...
On the 26th of January, it was Australia day... Aye Aye Aye... hehehe...
It was fun... I went out with some friends whom I have gotten to know this Summer...
We went out at 6 p.m. as Patrick needed to work...
Had dinner at a shop facing the bridge... the food was good...
But... sadly, I didn't take any photos... :(
Then we walked to Cold Rock as some of my other friends wanted ice-cream...
My other friends would be Mayuko, Sugar, Rob, Nick...
Yea, there were 6 of us... And then we went to watch the fireworks...
It was 20 minutes long... And really beautiful...
Sadly, my phone camera pictures really aren't nice at all... So, not posting any up... :(

Then, on the 29th of January till the 31st of January, I was in Sydney... ^^
My Dad came down to visit me and treat me to what I do best on CNY... EAT!!!
This is cause as most of you might know, I won't be back in Malaysia for CNY... Sobz...
I know... you all miss me and I miss all of you too...
Plus... the food I will be missing... Sigh... It hurts my dear fragile heart... lol...
The Yee Sang... The CNY delicacies... Sigh...
Anyway, so... at Sydney I ate till my heart's content...
Had Dim Sum for lunch on Friday afternoon, then dinner was Buffet at Star City...
Following day, Taiwanese Gourmet at Mother Chu's on Chinatown... The food was BAD!!!
I mean, I didn't like it... hehehe
Then lunch at Fish Market... Had half lobster, 6 oysters, 6 King prawns, some smoked salmon...
Dinner had Ramen at the ramen store in front of Kinokuniya... wonderful...
Pleasantly stuffed up... ^^
Had lotsa prawns during those few days... as the buffet... we had lotsa prawns... n then more prawns in Fish Market...
We had quite a lot of dumplings as well... hehehe...
And the egg tart at the Yum Cha store in Fish Market is excellent...

So, now... I'm just waiting for the pictures to come... from Malaysia... as my Dad took his camera back... :(
And all the pictures are there... He said he will give me the camera when he comes back though... Yay... ^^

Till the pictures come...

Love...

Do you believe in love?
As a child, each child have their own version of what love would be like...
I have had my version... of a fairytale love story...
As the song says...
"...I dreamed that love would never die...Then I was young and unafraid..."

And there's always that painful times in love...
when there's a guy... who is so good and makes you fall head over heels for him...
and then leaves you...
And then you will wish of
"...And still I dream he'll come to me, That we will live the years together..."
But as we know life... that doesn't happen...
Life isn't a fairytale... It is life... full of ups and downs... like a rollercoaster...

Don't you agree?

I think this video is cool...
It made me recall the times in primary school when we were kids all innocent and do not look at people by their colour of their skin....

Enjoy... ^^

The humour

I was watching a video on Malaysia-Today just now...
And I find it funny on how the Muslims of 60% population can be confused by 9% of Christians or so as stated in the video... Apparently, 60% of Muslims do not know what their religion is about, where their base faith in their own religion is so shaky that they can be easily pushed to Christianity? lol...

Isn't it enough that the other 40% of Malaysians who aren't Muslims have to tolerate with having road blocks during the Puasa period, having the Muslims always being prioritized in everything from studies to anything that benefits... What happen to fairness... Democratic my foot... And then the fact that they have a uni just for Malays and to open the uni for other races caused such a commotion... And then people who has become a Muslim can't revert back to their own religion... The Muslims make their religion scary... I mean... why can't people choose what they want to believe in... Why must they be forced... No sense at all... Never heard of forcing never bring happiness???

I'm not criticizing Muslims in general... I have many friends who are Muslims and they are great people... It's just the handful of them that can be brainless enough to think that burning churches will get their message through or carrying a cow's head to the minister's house a good move... Give me a break man... one after another? you guys make me laugh till my wits end... I wonder what next? Since you all have gotten the Indians and Christians. Buddhist next? Sigh...

What's becoming of my dear beloved country which I have grown up peacefully in?

The way I enjoyed my day...

Good day people,

I have a wonderful day today... Not that everything is perfectly perfect, but I just feel happy...
And I think it's all thanks to my determination to sleep early last night... ^^
Something that I have learn to do from my trip to Melbourne...

As weird as it sound, I came back from Melbourne inspired to change and to be a better person...
But, once back at this place I call home for the time being, I was back to my oldself...
And I thought, how is it that this place can drain all of the inspiration I got from being a good person...
Here I was, sleeping late, watching dramas non-stop, sleeping till I don't want to wake up...
I'm not sure, but I think determination can make me overcome all that... and planning as well...

It's time for me, the ex-assistant head of discipline in high school who was never disciplined to be a discipline person and to follow my flexible timetable in my head... hehehe...

Anyway, I just feel good... I think it's because of the sleep where I slept earlier than usual...
woke up before the alarm went off... ^^
and then had breakfast, wash up and tried on my new liquid eyeliner... I think I look not bad... hahaha...

Anyway, cheers and have a good day...

Boxing Day

I can never for my life understand how people can cramp in a building with many other people,
grabbing clothes or anything cheap and line up a freaking long queue to get the stuff...
Or even lining up a freaking long queue to try the clothes...

I was there that day... Boxing day at a mall...
it was horrifying...
It made me feel nauseous...
Suddenly, my tummy didn't agree with me... suddenly, my head started to sway and I was so darn sleepy...

It was like having sea sick or car sick or any other sickness...
It was terrible for me as I am a girl and this is what girl's or what most girl's do...
See sale, rush to the sale, fight with people for the item that you want and triumph over that victory... =.=

I think the time spend there, I can spend it on so many other stuff...
Like, watching drama or maybe just relaxing with a good book, rather than going in that building squeezing with people and looking at the mess people have created...

Oh well, a very good experience though...
DON'T go out on Boxing Day... ^^

Happy New Year

Happy New Year ,

I was at a relative's house in Melbourne during this festive season...
Watched the amazing fireworks at Sydney Harbor Bridge with my relatives on television...
Very amazing...

Later that day, I was on my way back to Wollongong...
It's funny that when I went to Melbourne, I was a spirit-less, motivation-less, and hope-less person.
I went there not expecting anything...
But the moment I touched down, I met my dear cousin...
And things changed from there...
I felt the same when I first came to Australia 6 months ago... the feeling of not knowing what to expect and so on came to me... I was happy...

And now, I'm back in Wollongong... All I can say is I missed the place...
Even though Melbourne was my love at first sight,
I have also grown fond to this place I call home at the moment, Wollongong...

Anyway, for the new year,
My resolution is...
  • study hard
  • study smart
  • rest well
  • eat well
  • try to not be lazy
  • find a meaning in life
  • watch my big mouth
  • make more friends...

And that's all for now...
Hope I succeed... ^^
Last year has been an eventful year of a roller-coaster ride...
Hopefully this year will be a more peaceful one...

Happy New Year...
